WARREN COTTAGE
Kingsthorn, Hereford HR2 8AJ - 01981 540799

Warren Cottage is a former woodman’s dwelling, but now a cosy and secluded two-bedroom cottage.

Set in delightful Herefordshire countryside, the cottage is available to rent for weekends or longer to those who wish to enjoy its peaceful, rural setting.

It is located just outside Kingsthorn (or Kings Thorn or Kingsthorne depending on which sign you read!). This is six miles south of Hereford, off the A49, 75 minutes from Bristol.

The cottage sleeps 3 people, has its own parking, walled garden, and wood-burning stove. It’s the last building on a track leading to Aconbury Woods, the site of an ancient hill fort, and full of mature deciduous and coniferous trees. There is a well-stocked shop in the neighbouring village.

It offers easy access to the Black Mountains, Hay-on-Wye, the river Wye and great country walks. A range of pubs - many serving excellent meals - are nearby. Details of walks and activities are kept in the cottage.

The owners live 100 yards away across the orchard in Warren Farmhouse. You may lock up canoes or bikes there if you wish.
